Do I really have to use a face mask?

1 October 2024

Do I really have to use a face mask?

Regardless of age, gender or concern, using a face mask should be an integral part of your beauty routine. It can improve your facial skin in a number of ways and is one of the most underrated parts of your skin care routine as it provides the skin with quality and optical ingredients. Quite simply, yes, you should use a face mask, but we have highlighted a few benefits below to support why.

What are the benefits?

Face masks open up your pores and remove lingering dirt while removing excess oil that is naturally produced on your face.

It’s not just oil and dirt, your face naturally accumulates dead skin cells which can also get trapped in your pores, but a good face mask absorbs all of that.

What’s more, if you have dry skin, a good face mask should be able to hydrate and moisturize the skin, provide a softer feel and improve elasticity.

Don’t ruin the relaxing effect by putting on some soft music and relaxing for 15 minutes while the mask sets. The therapeutic process, as well as the pleasant smell of the formula, can always be combined with a hot bath and candles.

If you want quick results, a face mask could be the answer. Although we recommend using them regularly, and not just before an event, the simple fact is that they quickly clean out your pores and remove all impurities, which can quickly improve your complexion.

No one wants to look older, and it has been proven that regular use of masks can significantly help prevent signs of aging, such as: B. Wrinkles and fine lines disappear, not to mention brown spots.

It’s not just about removing bacteria from the skin, another effect of the application can be radiant-looking skin. The reason is that many of them can stimulate blood circulation, which can create a natural glow.

Whatever your beauty routine, masks will significantly improve your beauty routine because they can clear out your pores (along with all the other benefits highlighted above), which means that any products you use will have a greater effect. One big reason is that it makes it easier for these other products to be absorbed by the skin, as there’s nothing blocking their path.

So why use activated charcoal?

Many masks contain a range of strange ingredients, from kiwi to papaya, which may sound interesting, but it probably won’t be absorbed by the skin and may not do much other than apply it to the skin and then immediately wash it off. Leave it alone. Your skin will absorb the active ingredients of the mask, not the weird fruit smoothie ingredients.

However, activated charcoal contains an active ingredient that draws toxins directly out of the skin and cleans out the pores, which should be an important part of what you want to achieve with a mask. Whether you want to clear up acne or absorb excess oil, a charcoal mask is the way to go.
